I love Pinterest and I also love sensory activities for kids. So I thought, why not combine my love of Pinterest and sensory and find the most amazing Pinterest boards for sensory activity ideas.
Sensory activities just aren't for children with sensory processing disorders or avoiding and seeking behaviors. ALL children can benefit from sensory activities. So even if your child does not have any sensory processing problems, keep reading.
If you want to learn more about sensory processing, our new book, Sensory Processing Explained: A Handbook for Parents and Educators is a great resource to get specific answers and activity ideas for your home, classroom, or to share with parents, clients, and teachers in your therapy practice!
Below you will find boards for general sensory activities, information on sensory processing, sensory bins, scented play dough, and themed sensory activities. Each is divided into their own section, so scroll down to the sections you want and follow as many boards as you want by clicking the links or board provided.
